These chewy cookies don’t have any flour, but they are loaded with ‘goodies.’ Chocolate chips, chunky peanut butter, M&M’s, and oatmeal, how could you go wrong? Enough cookies to satisfy a small army or about 2 hungry teenage boys! I received this recipe from a friend about 25 years ago, enjoy (I should mention that this recipe can easily be halved…just in case you don’t have an army to feed!).
MONSTER Cookies
Ingredients
2 cup sugar
2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
6 eggs
1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1-1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
3 cups chunky peanut butter
8 cups oatmeal
1 (12-ounce) package chocolate chips
1 (12-ounce) package plain M&M’sDirections
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a very large mixing bowl, beat together sugar, brown sugar, and butter until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla, maple syrup, and peanut butter; mix well. Stir in oatmeal. Add chocolate chips, and M&M’s; mix well. For each cookie, scoop about 1/4 cup dough onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until set (do not overbake). Let stand on cookie sheet for 3 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool. 4 Dozen cookies.
