This soup is quick and easy to prepare with the aid of condensed soups. Ready in less than 30 minutes.
Beef and Tomato Soup
1 pound ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 (10-1/4 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup
1 (10-1/4 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups beef broth
2 cups grated carrots
3/4 teaspoon crushed dried marjoram leaves
Brown ground beef with onion and celery in large saucepan over medium heat. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 15 minutes or until carrots are tender and soup is thoroughly heated. Serve with a rustic loaf of crusty bread, if desired. 8 servings.
