Special Occasion – White Chocolate Rum Sauce

Turn just about any dessert into something special with a drizzle of this sauce.

White Chocolate Rum Sauce

1-1/2 cups whipping cream
1/4 cup powdered sugar
4 ounces white chocolate chips, or white chocolate broken into pieces
2 tablespoons rum

Combine cream and powdered sugar in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until mixture boils, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, and simmer 4 minutes. Stir in white chocolate and rum. Continue cooking and stirring for 1 minute or until chocolate has melted and sauce is smooth. Serve warm or cool. Store in refrigerator. 2 cups.
