Wondering what to do with those ripe bananas? Try these dessert bars, with a marshmallow-banana filling.
Marshmallow Banana Dessert Squares
1 package yellow cake mix
1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup mashed bananas
4 cups miniature marshmallows
1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour 13×9-inch pan.
Combine all base ingredients in a large bowl. Mix at low speed until crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup crumb mixture for topping. Press remaining crumb mixture firmly in bottom of prepared pan.
Place all filling ingredients in large saucepan. Heat over low heat until marshmallows melt, stirring constantly. Spoon and spread evenly over base. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture over filling. Bake at 350°F. for 25 to 30 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars.
